Add NAS File Storage

#1

It seems like this should be easy, but I can’t seem to set it up…

I have a Bitnami Debian Pimcore stack installed as a VM on a local machine. I’d like to mount an existing local NAS volume and access the assets directly rather than copying all of the assets (there are many TB worth of image and video files). Do I need to mount the volume on the Debian VM first? I can’t even get that to work :frowning:

Yes, obviously you need to mount the NAS first in order to access it

You would also need to sort of “sync” your assets directory with the Pimcore DB for Pimcore to create the DB entries -> a CLI script for that would do the job.
