Pimcore asset upload towards AWS S3 - best practice

Hi all,

I successfully managed to save the Pimcore asset in a S3 bucket, following the guide on Pimcore documentation: https://pimcore.com/docs/6.x/Development_Documentation/Installation_and_Upgrade/System_Setup_and_Hosting/Amazon_AWS_Setup/Amazon_AWS_S3_Setup.html

I have 2 questions:

  1. is there a way to discover assets already present in the destination bucket, thus avoiding to re-upload them through pimcore?

  2. what should be the best practice in order to upload large assets (e.g. >2 TB images)?
Using the standard pimcore asset management interface, I apparently can upload single images or zip through the web page, but the upload seems to fail quite often, without any notification. Is this due to server performance limitations? What are the recommended settings in this case?
The safest solution right now is to import files directly from the server itself, is there any more confortable procedure?

Thank you!
