Where did the API Docs go?

Where did the API Documentation go? There used to be a link at the bottom of the docs that allowed you to browse class structures by namespace and that is no longer available. Attempting to go to a listing from this such as if you were to google “Pimcore\Model\Asset\Listing” just redirects you now to an incredibly useless page by comparison to what was there previously.

Is this gone permanently or are there plans to replace it?

Are you looking for this documentation ? https://pimcore.com/docs/pimcore/current/Development_Documentation/Web_Services/index.html

@RedYetiCo is talking about https://pimcore.com/docs/api/master/ which was an generated API documentation (PHP API).
Since the last build of the documentation was based on Pimcore 5 and the generator we used (https://github.com/FriendsOfPHP/Sami) is no longer maintained, we’ve decided to not longer provide this kind of API docs.

Thanks for your understanding.

Thank you for your reply. Are there any plans to find a replacement or are there any recommendations you can provide to people who used and relied on these docs moving forward?

@RedYetiCo Either create it yourself, or use a proper IDE with autocompletion…

@dpfaffenbauer Which one do you recommend? We use Netbeans which isn’t great with autocompletion.

@powderlexi For PHP development I’d recommend JetBrain’s PhpStorm (paid). If you don’t want to pay or can’t afford it, with Microsoft’s Visual Studio Code there’s a free alternative.

@aarongerig: Thank you. After one day of usage, PHPStorm feels great and way more productive than netbeans.

IMHO, nevertheless, some kind of API-Docs would be great. It still provides a better overview of classes, methods etc, for those who aren’t working with pimcore daily.
